Saturday, June 22 - Sunday, June 23 Festival: 25th Annual Galesburg Railroad Days Various times and locations Street fair, food, carnival, railroad exhibits, city and rail yard tours, concerts, mud volleyball, car show and much more. Call for a brochure outlining all of the events, 343-2485
Sports: Railroad Days Mud Volleyball 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday Fun in the sun with the annual Mud Volleyball Tournament; cash prizes and beer tent. Public Parking Lot, 300 block of E. Main St., 343-9189
Exhibit: Railroad Days Model Train and Railraodiana Show. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Sat.; 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Sun. 20 train layouts and displays, 250+ vendor tables; swap meet, operating layouts, slide & video shows, books, hobby supplies, railroadiana. There is a free shuttle bus from the Depot/Museum area to the College on both days of the festival. The Model Train and Railraodiana Show, although somewhat remote from the center of things, is a major attraction of the Festial and has raised in excess of $64,000 for the CSC Scholarship Foundation over the last seven years. It has grown to a point that it is now the largest display of its type help annually in the Midwest during the Summer months. Carl Sandburg College, 343-2485
