Hours, Open May to mid-October
Tuesday-Saturday 10-4, Sunday 12-4
Weekends only from mid-April to May, mid-October to mid-November.
Closed Mondays. Check with Visitors Center for changes at (309) 343-2485.

Admission, Suggested donation Adults $4.00 Children $1.00 (8-16)
(7 and under free with adult) and $10.00 for Family.

Parking, ample parking is available in the city parking lot on Seminary street.

Accessibility, The collection and exhibits located in the New Museum Building are handicapped accessible; however, the Locomotive 3006 and the rest of the Rolling Stock are not.

Seminary Street, hosts a variety of unique shops.

Discovery Depot., The Discovery Depot provides an environment for fun and educational experiences for children and families, Interactive exhibits, programs, and collections will stimulate curiosity, promote discovery, and encourage learning. Through these resources, visitors will gain a better understanding of our world.

Restaurants, local eateries include the Chez Willy's, Landmark, Packinghouse, and Uncle Billy's Bakery.
