Hours:

 

The Galesburg Railroad Museum is open to the public by appointment only on Monday through Thursday starting April 5th.  Our regular hours will be 12 noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday & Sunday's. WE REQUIRE PEOPLE WHO COME TO VISIT TO WEAR MASKS!!  We will be closed July 17th & July 18th for other obligations.

 

Admission:

 

Adults $6; Children $3 (ages 8 to 16) (ages 7 and under free with paid adult)

 

Parking:

 

Available in the city parking lots on Seminary Street and on Mulberry Street

 

Accessibility:

 

The collections and exhibits located inside the Museum Building are handicapped accessible; however, the Locomotive 3006 and the rest of the Rolling Stock are not.

-------------GALESBURG RAILROAD DAYS IS OPEN THIS YEAR BUT WITHOUT A LOT OF ATTRACTIONS AT THE mUSEUM.  WE WILL NOT BE DOING BUS TOURS OF THE YARDS OR EVEN THE VIP TOURS DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS AND COSTS ATTRIBUTED TO BOTH THINGS.__________

Knox County Scenic Drive First two weekends in October

 

We are located at the Knox County Fairgrounds next to the grandstands.  

Our spot has moved next to the west door. 

Come see us and Shop for Christmas.
