The Galesburg Railroad Museum is open for the season (weekends only Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12-4 p.m.). Please call for appointments @ 309-368-2858 or 309-368-9208 if wanting a tour during the week
We are available for tours by appointments with a one day notice and weather permitting.
We are selling raffle tickets for drawing for a trip for two on amtrak. one trip galesburg to kewanee and return or trip from galesburg to macomb and back.

Bringing Diesel and Steel to Life
At the Galesburg Railroad Museum, we are dedicated to gathering and preserving artifacts, historical documents, data, letters, accounts, and other articles related to the history of the local railroad. We are indebted to the many kind people who have donated memorabilia for exhibition. Through our vast collection, we hope that those who visit our museum will learn about railroading and the people whose lives were entwined with it.
