Hours:
The Galesburg Railroad Museum is open for the season beginning April thru the end of September. We are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. We are available for tours of the museum and rolling stock the rest of days and times by appointment with 24 hours notice, please. Cars unavailable in inclement weather. Please call 309-368-2858.
Admission:
Adults $6; Children $3 (ages 8 to 16) (ages 7 and under free with paid adult)
Parking:
Available in the city parking lots on Seminary Street and on Mulberry Street
Accessibility:
The collections and exhibits located inside the Museum Building are handicapped accessible; however, the Locomotive 3006 and the rest of the Rolling Stock are not.

Events
The dedicated Railroad Days has been the 4th weekend of June. We have many anniversaries to celebrate this year. 1854 to 2024 - 170 years of Railroad in Galesburg. 1974 to 2024 - 50 years of Railroad History being told. 2004 to 2024 - 20 years for our Museum Building.

Galesburg Railroad Museum will have their annual Railroad Days Festivities.
Galesburg Railroad Museum Times and Price
Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Adults 16 and up $6.00
Children 8 to 15 $3.00
Children 7 and under - free with paid Adult.
This includes GUIDED TOURS of the Rolling Stock
Beginning at 11:30 AM with Tours Every Half Hour with LAST Tour at 3:00 PM
Bus Road Tours of the Rail Yard Friday & Saturday
Tickets will go on sale at 11:30 AM with First Bus Tour Starting at 12 Noon. These Bus Road Tours will run every Hour 1 PM, 2 PM & 3 PM
Adults 16 and Up $5.00 Children 8 to 15 $3.00 and Children 7 and under free with Paid Adult. No Bus Road Tours on Sunday.
VIP Bus Tours Friday & Saturday
Tickets will go on Sale at 3:00 PM. These VIP Bus Tours begins at 4:00 PM. (Two Buses)
Each TICKET is $30.00. There are 64 total tickets available each day.
