Hours:
The Galesburg Railroad Museum is open for the season beginning April thru the end of September. Our 2025 season begins on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm. We will be opened Fridays and Saturdays in April from 12:00 noon until 4:00 pm each of those days. However, you still have an opportunity to visit our Museum. With a 24 hour notice you may make an appointment to visit our Museum Sunday thru Saturday between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Outside cars unavailable in inclement weather. Please call 309-368-2858 to schedule your appointment. Call this number if you have any questions.
Admission:
Adults $6; Children $3 (ages 8 to 16) (ages 7 and under free with paid adult)
Parking:
Available in the city parking lots on Seminary Street and on Mulberry Street
Accessibility:
The collections and exhibits located inside the Museum Building are handicapped accessible; however, the Locomotive 3006 and the rest of the Rolling Stock are not.
